For sixteen years, members of the Children's Coalition have worked to keep our innocent children a priority in our community. With the fast pace lifestyles of our modern world, more
than ever we need to be sure that safeguards for our children are in place. This is best done in a collaborative effort by all persons and provider agencies that support services for children.
The work of the Children's Coalition has kept our priorities in place. We are constantly
reminded that we cannot leave our children to random hope, but we must strategically plan
and monitor the services and resources that rightfully belong to them.
What have we achieved by working together? The following accomplishments, supported by the Children's Coalition, reflect that the most critical needs of our children have been addressed with visible and effective services/programs in place:
- Development & implementation of Community Plan for Children 2006-2011
- Bimonthly membership meetings
- Mini grants
- Annual Community Leadership Breakfast
- For the Love of Children annual Luncheon
and other important advocacy events throughout the year.
- Our Board is “your voice” with the Mayor

- Emails and electronic newsletters of your important events.
